Assos village

Another historical village located on the North of Kefalonia, on a beautiful peninsula only half an hour drive from Fiskardo. Assos, crowned by its beautiful Venetian castle.. sleepy in winters, filled with visitors, life and colors in summers, architecturally colourful year round!!

The ‘Lady of the North’, as it was once called, also shortly lived capital of Kefalonia, today it simply screams Greece with its narrow paths, colored Venetian style homes, framed in bougainvillea windows and doors, and tiny chapel with panoramic views over Assos.

Beautiful turquoise, coupled with the most breathtaking sunsets.. the one and only, the iconic Myrtos beach, around 45 minutes drive from Fiskardo!!

We were there and said YES once.. We keep coming back to this magical beach and say it over and over again: Magical Myrtos !!
